Keri Wootton is the President and Senior Event Consultant for Leave The Details to Me. She was born in Tucson, Arizona and moved at a young age to Los Angeles California. She began her career as an event planner in Los Angeles, as a teenager working for her father’s Association Event Management Company. Keri worked for her father’s company through college and then met her future husband whose job took them to Dallas, Texas where she continued doing event planning. She went to work for a local software company doing marketing events and then went to work for the Jewish Community Association of Austin as their Director of Hospitality & Events. She fell in love with the city of Austin and decided to raise her family here. In 2006 Keri started Leave the Details to Me, Event and Wedding Consulting. Since founding Leave The Details to Me, Keri took on the challenge of becoming a Certified Wedding Planner through the Wedding Planning Institute (http://www.weddingplanninginstitute.com/). She had such success with the course she went on to become an instructor with the institute teaching right here at Austin Community College. She currently owns and runs Leave the Details to Me with the help of her assistants and a few interns.
